Blake Sellers is a Financial Consultant located in Columbia, Missouri. He partners with CCR's investment professionals and financial planning team to help individuals, families, and business owners develop thoughtful financial strategies tailored to their unique goals.
Before joining CCR, Blake spent six years as a subject-matter expert on the University of Missouri System Retirement Programs team, where he guided faculty and staff through retirement planning and the transition to retirement. That experience shaped his ability to simplify complex financial decisions, provide clarity during major life transitions, and help clients build strategies aligned with their long-term goals. Today, he brings that perspective to CCR, working with individuals and business owners to design retirement strategies that support both their employees and their own financial futures.
Growing up in the St. Louis area instilled in Blake a strong appreciation for hard work, close-knit community, and the importance of investing in the lives of others. Those values have guided every stage of his journey—from serving as a missionary in Southeast Asia after college, to helping families navigate important financial decisions today. His years overseas broadened his perspective, deepened his appreciation for different cultures, and reinforced the importance of building relationships rooted in trust and genuine care.
Whether helping clients prepare for retirement, navigate life's financial transitions, or pursue long-term financial independence, Blake is committed to building lasting relationships rooted in trust, thoughtful advice, and genuine care for the people he serves.
Away from the office, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, improving his golf game, and being actively involved in the Columbia community.
